Curriculum

Oasis School provides a wide and balanced curriculum for all students. The curriculum is accessible to each child at the level that he or she is working at. Staff adapt to the unique needs of each child taking into account the strengths and weaknesses and the difficulties that are associated with Autism in general. The primary focus of the early years and key Stage 1 and Stage 2 is to develop a firm foundation of skills necessary for future learning.


Curriculum provides:

Personalised individual Education Plans based on a full assessment and review.
Learning targets that match a child's individual level of development.
Learning to learn in a fun way.
Opportunities to learn through play and interaction.
The teaching of social and communication skills across the whole day including visual systems that encourage children to take an active part in communication their needs.
